Delta TechOps was finalist out of more than 500 repair centers listed on the OneAero MRO database for Top Shop - 2012 FAA-A4A Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) “Better Way” Award Delta TechOps (NDT) engine MRO team was recognized at the Airlines for America (A4A) Nondestructive Testing forum in Seattle for their on-going participation in the development and implementation of Acoustic Thermography inspection of critical rotating engine parts.
- 2012 ATE&M Awards Finalist: Best Airframe MRO Provider – The Americas, Best Engine MRO, Best Component MRO Finalist for the 2012 Aircraft Technology Engineering & Maintenance Awards in three categories; Best Airframe MRO Provider - The Americas, Best Engine MRO as well as the Best Component MRO.
- 2012 OneAero TopShop Award – Best Total Solutions Provider 13,500 industry professionals voted on nominees in the Aviation MRO maintenance industry where the list of finalists were then circulated to a group of 20 airlines and suppliers from around the world that were responsible for selecting Delta TechOps as the Best Total Solutions Provider.
- 2011 ATE&M Awards Best Airframe MRO Provider in the Americas Recognized at the 2011 Airline Purchasing & Maintenance Expo in London as the Best Airframe MRO Providers in the Americas by customers and industry peers.

- 2011 Delta’s cross-divisional Safety Management System (SMS) has earned the FAA’s Level 3 status Level 3 certification acknowledges a service provider actively develops processes to understand the critical characteristics of its systems and operational environment and apply this knowledge to the identification of hazards, risk decision-making, and the design of risk controls.
- 2010 FAA-A4A Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) “Better Way” Award Recognized for developing and implementing Process Compensated Resonance Testing (PCRT), a process of non-destructive testing that discovers over-temperature conditions in aircraft engines.
- 2010 Aviation Week MRO of the Year – Outstanding Airline Maintenance Group Recognized as the best Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) provider worldwide for pioneering achievements.
- 2010 Aircraft Technology Engineering & Maintenance Award – Best MRO Provider in the Americas Recognized at 2010 Airline Purchasing & Maintenance Expo in London by Delta’s customers and peers as the top provider for airline MRO based on its reputation and brand.
- 2010 OneAero TopShop Award – Best Total Solutions Provider Awarded for being an industry leader and showing a total commitment to improving efficiencies in aircraft maintenance.
- 2009 Delta’s cross-divisional Safety Management System (SMS) has earned the FAA’s Level 1 and Level 2 certifications. Levels one and two of the FAA’s SMS certification acknowledge a service provider has completed a comprehensive preliminary and detailed gap analyses, a detailed implementation plan, and implemented best practices to existing maintenance efforts.
- 2009 Delta TechOps receives 2009 FAA-A4A Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) “Better Way” award Recognized for developing and applying a technology, technique, process or policy that results in a more responsive, dependable or cost-effective process for inspecting and testing aircraft or aviation components and systems.
- 2009: Delta TechOps recognized for joining EPA’s National Partnership for Environmental Priorities Delta TechOps recognized for its commitment to changing some of its engineering processes to eliminate the use of lead.
- 2008 OSHA VPP Corporate Pilot Program Certification Accepted into the OSHA VPP Corporate Pilot Program for demonstrating a strong commitment to employee safety, health and Voluntary Protection Program.
- 2008 OneAero: TopShop Award - Best Total Solutions Provider Recognized as an aviation repair center that provides quality customer support, outstanding turn-around-time and competitive repair pricing.
- 2008 Continuous Process Improvement Symposium: Robert E. Fox “Race to Excel” Award for Large Private Organization Awarded for outstanding improvements in performance through the application of the Theory of Constraints (TOC), Six Sigma and LEAN improvement techniques.
- 2008 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency: EPA Award - Design for the Environment (DfE) Program Recognized for the use of PreKote, an environmentally friendly, non-chromium surface pretreatment on aircrafts, which replaces hazardous chemicals traditionally used to improve paint adhesion and avert deterioration.
- 2007 Air Transport Association (A4A): Nuts and Bolts Award The ATA Engineering, Maintenance and Materiel Council recognized Tony Charaf for his outstanding service for more than 30 years, his contributions to the aviation engineering, maintenance and materiel industry and his personal dedication and visionary leadership.
- 2006 FAA: Diamond Award - the seventh year to have received the honor Awarded the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) most prestigious safety honor for excellence in aviation maintenance training.
- 2006 OSHA: VPP Star Status Delta TechOps’ St. Louis airport customer service facility awarded for implementing and maintaining workplace health and safety programs that go above and beyond federal regulations and industry standards.
- 2004 Aviation Week: MRO Innovation Award - Lean Awarded the Charles B. Ryan Award for innovative business practices to be a more efficient, cost-effective and customer-driven aircraft MRO company while supporting or improving safety and technical proficiency.
