Spread your wings with Delta as you help ensure the highest levels of safety, comfort and convenience. With nothing more important than the safety of our passengers and crew, Delta Mechanics and other TechOps team members are instrumental in ensuring that every facet of every plane is in perfect working order prior to takeoff.

Over 9,600 professionals comprise our Technical Operations Division, which is responsible for performing all maintenance and engineering activities to support Delta’s flying operations. To manage our fleet and ensure customers an exceptional travel experience, this vital department operates around the clock, seven days a week.

Opportunities may exist for technicians at a variety of skill levels, from entry-level to highly-experienced individuals. Roles within the TechOps Division include:

  • Aircraft Pre-Flight Inspectors
  • Aircraft Support Mechanics
  • Aviation Maintenance Technicians
  • Engine Inspectors
  • Machinists
  • Painters
  • Parts Supply Associates
  • Plane Cleaners
  • Welders

While specific positions will have unique requirements (see individual job descriptions), you must possess at least a H.S. diploma/GED equivalent, be at least 18 years of age, and possess current authorization to work in the U.S. to work at Delta.
