We’re pleased to announce a new partnership between Delta TechOps and Rolls-Royce Aerospace Division.
Delta TechOps will become an Approved Maintenance Center for two Rolls-Royce commercial jet engine types, adding to our existing MRO portfolio the Rolls-Royce Trent XWB and Trent 7000 engines. The partnership provides Rolls-Royce with its first Approved Maintenance Center of its kind in the Americas, allowing Delta TechOps and Rolls-Royce to provide more efficient service throughout the lifecycle of these jet engines.
Delta Air Lines new international Airbus fleet will operate Rolls-Royce jet engines, and will continue to rely on Delta TechOps for all MRO maintenance responsibilities. In addition, many commercial operators will now have the option to engage Delta TechOps as an Approved Maintenance Center for Rolls-Royce civil engines:
Backed by Delta TechOps’ industry-leading technicians and engineering teams, the new Rolls-Royce Approved Maintenance Center will provide jet engine maintenance, repair services and overhaul services. Upon initiating certain Rolls-Royce Engine services in 2016, Delta TechOps plans to expand its Atlanta-based Technical Operations Center by more than 100,000 square feet. The facility is targeted for completion in 2020.
